"Handle with Care" is a practical program full of interactive strategies designed for parents and care givers, as well as those involved in early childhood settings. This program promotes the social well-being and emotional resiliency of children from birth to six years old (and beyond)! Supporting the social and emotional well-being of our children is just as crucial as ensuring they eat well, get enough sleep, exercise and play outside. The true spirit of this program is one of celebrating parenting and care giving, building connections and support through shared experiences and ensuring we all understand "we are not alone". We believe that emotionally healthy parents and care givers raise emotionally healthy children. Each week, we will focus on one of the following four building blocks: building attachment, building self-esteem, managing emotions and relationships with others.

Children are pre-programmed to explore the world around them. Toddler Shenanigans provides little ones with the chance to explore and experience the world through messy play. Messy play allows children to use and develop their 5 senses, and to further develop their natural inquiry skills. There are no rules, and guidelines, allowing more freedom to explore. It is also a great opportunity for caregivers to spend some quality time with their children in an open-ended manner. This program helps spread the message of loving our children unconditionally and is shown through songs, stories, and activities.
