Course Details:

  • Duration: 6.5 hours of in-class instruction, including:
    • 15-minute break in the morning
    • 15-minute break in the afternoon
    • 1-hour lunch break
  • Certification: Participants will receive a certificate from the Canadian Red Cross upon completion.

Requirements:

  • Age: This class is for ages 12 and up.
  • Registration: Use the name you would like on your card, an email address for receiving the certificate, and an alternative email if available.

Providing In-Service Day Camp for children in grades K to 6. This Day Camp will be filled with games, crafts and adventure!

Planned Activities: start at 9:00 am and end at 4:00 pm.

Participants must bring a lunch, snacks, water bottle, outdoor gear and spare clothes due to warming and wet outdoor conditions.

- Drop Off: 8:00 am- 9:00 am
- Pick Up: 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Location has been moved to the OAK BLUFF COMMUNITY SCHOOL GYM

Pick up/drop off is at the gym doors, SOUTH of the school. 


Parental Consent Form and Release of Liability Form to our office before program day, or bring with you to program and hand into the facilitator. 

Child must be independent in the bathroom.

Requirements:

  • Equipment: Helmet with mask, neck protector, gloves, shin pads, elbow pads and hockey stick.
  • Insurance: Individual accident/injury insurance is encouraged.
  • Waiver: Download and complete the Hit the Ice Waiver and bring it to the first class.
  • Helmet: Everyone on the ice MUST wear a helmet.

Payment and Registration:

  • Eligibility: Open to kids not registered in a Hockey MB or Ringette MB program.
  • Payments: Installment or postdated payments accepted.
