Join us for an afternoon full of creativity and crafting on July 30th! First, kids will create their own DIY stamped tote bags using nature-inspired stamps and vibrant fabric paints—perfect for carrying summer treasures or library books! Then, we’ll swirl, twist, and splash into the world of tie-dye, where tie dyed items become a one-of-a-kind masterpiece.

It’s a messy, marvelous good time where creativity knows no limits! All children will be provided with a tote bag that they can either stamp, tie dye, or both! Bring your own t-shirt or clothing item to tie dye! Be sure to wear clothes that can handle a splash of color.

We also recommend bringing a snack, water bottle, and sunhat, as well as wearing running shoes for games afterwards!

Join us for a morning full of creativity and crafting on July 30th! First, kids will create their own DIY stamped tote bags using nature-inspired stamps and vibrant fabric paints—perfect for carrying summer treasures or library books! Then, we’ll swirl, twist, and splash into the world of tie-dye, where tie dyed items become a one-of-a-kind masterpiece.

It’s a messy, marvelous good time where creativity knows no limits! All children will be provided with a tote bag that they can either stamp, tie dye, or both! Bring your own t-shirt or clothing item to tie dye! Be sure to wear clothes that can handle a splash of color.

We also recommend bringing a snack, water bottle, and sunhat, as well as wearing running shoes for games afterwards!

Join us for a morning full of creativity and crafting on July 16th! Participants will design their very own seashell necklace, using colorful beads, real shells, and a sprinkle of imagination. Then, it’s time to get hands-on with a clay sculpture craft—perfect for molding mini sea creatures and magical figures. 

This session encourages artistic expression, fine motor skills, and lots of OUTDOOR fun. All crafting materials are provided—just bring your creativity and a smile!

Come to our pop-up playground for a revolution in play… LOOSE PARTS PLAY!

In an open outdoor space, children will use their imaginations and play with loose parts! Loose parts include: tarps, bungee cords, tires, milk crates, cardboard packaging and more! This type of play is UNSTRUCTURED and RISKY!

Risky play is about discovery and finding out what we are capable of. It shapes us in unexpected ways. We often assume risk is negative but, it does not have to be!  As they begin to play, children are remarkably quite good at mitigating their own risk. They come up with their own rules, negotiate, collaborate and cooperate with other children. Children will have the opportunity to make creative decisions, test their boundaries and limits and learn skills to take into adolescence and adulthood.

At the Loose Parts Playground site, our Summer Recreation Attendant will greet parents and children, orient them of the space and remind them of the expectations to be safe and respectful. Participants can drop in and stay as long as they would like. 

Children MUST be accompanied by an adult for the duration of their play.

Join us on July 31st in Starbuck for our SOCCER BASEBALL TOURNAMENT! Gather your friends to make a team, or come solo to join a team for a fun-filled day! This soccer baseball crossover will follow the style and rules of baseball with kickball instead of batting! 

Each team will get the chance to play all of the other teams and will end in a championship game. There will be 5-8 players per team. Let us know if you're coming with friends and would like to be on a team together.

Join us on August 22nd in Sanford for our SOCCER TOURNAMENT! Gather your friends to make a team, or come solo to join a team for a fun-filled day! 

Each team will get the chance to play all of the other teams and will end in a championship game. There will be 5-8 players per team. Let us know if you're coming with friends and would like to be on a team together.
